Christmas Bazaar 2009

Arrangements for the Christmas Bazaar on the evening of Friday 4th Dec 09 (5.30pm – 7.30pm) at the school are being finalised. A mufti day is organised for the 27th Nov.

fyi: The main reason that we hold mufti day is to get as many donations as possible for the Christmas Bazaar. The less Friends have to buy, the more profit we make, that is then put back into the school to afford the special items used in aiding our children’s education.)

This years’ bazaar is packed full of wonderful things for the whole family. The Secret Santa stall, for the children to pick their own presents for Mom and Dad, has lots of great presents all worth £2 each. The children can pick and then wrap the present, all ready for placing under the tree. Your mufti donations will be used on the tombola stands. There are fantastic raffles and a sealed bid auction to try your luck on. Lots of win-every-time games, a Christmas craft stall and beauty parlour for the children to enjoy, with a visit to Father Christmas – who has an appropriate present worth £2 for each visitor. Turkey orders can be taken (for delivery on the 24th), wreaths will be ready for collection, poinsettias and home made decorations are also available.

Mulled wine and minced pies or tea/coffee and cake for the peckish with baked potatoes, tomato soup and hot dogs for the hungry. A licensed bar will also be open for the adults with juice and soft drinks for the children.

Don’t forget that the Christmas Bazaar is to raise money for the school. If you can’t make it on the night please feel free to buy your raffle tickets or put your secret bid in prior to the night. On the 3rd and 4th we will be in the playground selling tickets.

CHRISTMAS WREATHS
Examples of our Christmas wreathes are now on display, outside the school office. We have a fruity, glitzy or plain one for you to choose from. Please be aware that each wreath will be different and if you have a colour preference, let us know on your booking form. We have three sizes available for you to order.

Large = £20                                   Medium = £15                            Small = £10

These will be available for collection at our Christmas Bazaar on Friday 4th December from 5.30pm – 7.30pm. Anyone that is able to help us with ‘greenery’ is asked to bring it into school week commencing 23rd November and leave it in the area outside of year 1 classrooms.

A huge thank you if you can help.
